Cail Mass: Memories of Nature

 Breath in Deeply
*Inhales Deeply*
Root your feet to the earth and exhale.
*Exhales Breath*

Feel the solid power in yourself, in the earth. Both linked and bound as one.
Immeasurable memories live here in this land, the tiny foot steps of your youth rest here.
The Footsteps of peoples new born, and lost to time, the tracks, paw prints and hoof marks of every soul stand around you today. An unspeakable amount of memories rest below our feet, you can see these memories in the bark of trees, the ice, the rock, and even the smell in the air. If one looks, they can see these cracks into the past, of worlds already told, of futures yet to be seen. Feel the truth, the power of this history. Your history, your parents history, our history, rooting you. Our memories are absorbed into the stone and dirt, the very nature of life itself. To join those who walked these paths before us, patiently awaiting our arrival with loving arms, as nature whispers us into the calm of oblivion.

As we walk in Cail's Path, there is need for mindfulness in these ideas.
What does it mean to cut a tree for wood? To quarry a cliff for a castle, to dam a river for fisheries. How are you contributing to these memories? Will the ones who walk after you thank you for the house, or admonish you for the lost tree? In our feet, rooted to this stone we are all connected, our stories intertwined, our footsteps forever intersecting. I welcome you to the presence of this nature, the presence of our nature, and hope you too can respect our past, and preserve our futures in the trails we decide to walk. Remember your origin, our origin, our future is surely lost without it.

Let's all take a deep breath in

*Breaths in Deeply*

and then out

*Breaths out deeply*

In all things Balanced in these truths, walk with Cail

*Bows*
